Last week I had the solemn responsibility of accompanying my brave bride to public testimony that couldn’t have been easy for her.   You see, Mayor Gallego and the Phoenix City Council were hearing from Phoenicians who were supporting the dedication of Wallace and Ladmo Way at the site of the old KPHO Studios.   For those of you who don’t know, the Wallace and Ladmo Show was the longest running children’s television show in America (airing from 1954 to 1989) and one of the staples of the show was awarding a Ladmo Bag to youngsters watching the show in person.   Sadly, young Christa never received a Ladmo Bag so I’m sure you can imagine the long since scarred over wounds this event reopened! Even so, my wonderful wife persevered and even attended in support of Wallace and Ladmo Way.   Also in attendance was the intrepid sidekick of the hosts, none other than Mr. Pat McMahon himself. Please join me in lobbying for a long overdue Ladmo Bag for Christa at the dedication ceremony later this year.   All the Best,    D L C
